The Team

Hello!
We're the team responsible for this project, consisting of five Computer Science/Interactive Media Technology students partaking in the Advance Graphics and Interaction (AGI) course at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
This project has been quite large and ambitious, so naturally we had to divide the workload amongst ourselves, to make it work within the given time frame. We've mostly played to our initial skills and interests, but also explored new areas of development, resulting in both deepening and broadening learning experiences for all of us.
We chose to make an interactive game, because we're all very able to relate to games in general, and because we thought that a game promotes a hand-on, interactive experience, which is the intent of the course.
We hope you find our project interesting, regardless if you're able to actually try it out on a PixelSense device.
Don't hesitate to reach out to us, if you have questions this website weren't able to answer.

Oliver Eriksson (oliverorobin@gmail.com)

Graphics Programming, Visual Effects, Audio, Scripting

I have contributed to all parts of the project, however most of my work was done to give the game a visually pleasing look by writing shaders and creating particle effects. For example, I wrote shaders and created effects for most character projectiles, the card and character description UI, spawn platforms, team flags and the Squishy character. I created the environment model including procedural texturing and drew the skybox. I also mixed and added sound to the game. Here is my personal portfolio.

Interaction Programmer, Game Designer

Contributed to the design of the project, to the process of retrieving card data, and provided support in areas where possible. I made significant contributions to designing the gameplay loop. I also contributed to scripting, testing and debugging.

Character Artist, Gameplay Programmer, Interaction Programmer

I created the character models, materials and animations in Blender, implemented Armor and Doctor as characters in the game, and made the initial computer vision and interaction programming with the SUR40.

My primary responsibilities has been working on this development blog, handling contact and bookings, as well as designing the project concept. Responsibilities that I have shared with others includes mostly implementation of game, UI, and interaction elements. In general, I have had a hand in most activities by providing feedback, support, and discussion to my fellow team members.

Game Programmer, Graphics Designer

I contributed mostly to gameplay programming/scripting, and most importantly set up the initial game development environment. I also spent some time trying to learn modeling and shaders towards the end of the project.
